Description

The SEAS club is open to all students within the Department of Earth and Atmospheric Sciences. They meet periodically throughout the academic year. Activities include department-wide picnics, field trips, and hosting 'bad science' movie nights. They also offer academic support to all EAS students. 

Roles

I served as a member from 2017 to 2020. In the three years as a member, I helped create an inclusive community around the earth and atmospheric sciences department. I also supported peers in their studies and professional endeavors.

Takeaways

The SEAS program was a great club for social networking and academic engagement. The club made learning fun and inspired many to learn about other earth sciences.
