Abstract

Working under the AMPP-2 department at Los Alamos National Laboratory. I assisted in testing new designs of Radioisotope Thermoelectric Generators. With the inception of these new designs, a variety of tests were developed to certify their safety, toughness, and reliability in a variety of conditions. To ensure these tests could be conducted controllably and reliably, a series of fixtures were designed for shock, vibration, thermodynamic, and longevity experiments.
